Kuwait, February 15 (QNA) - HH the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah met Sunday at the Bayan Palace with HE President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani.

During the meeting, HH the Amir of the State of Kuwait congratulated HE Sheikh Joaan on his election as President of the OCA, affirming the State of Kuwait's full support for the relevant sports institutions, foremost among them the OCA, in a way that contributes to strengthening and developing the sports movement across the Asian continent and consolidating the principles of cooperation and integration among member states.

HH Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah also met with HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, congratulating His Excellency on his election as President of the OCA and wishing him continued success in serving Asian sport and supporting its progress and achievements.
