2026 HH the Amir Cup: Umm Salal Complete Quarterfinal Line-Up with Victory over Al Ahli

Doha, February 15 (QNA) - Umm Salal advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2026 HH the Amir Cup, in its 54th edition, after defeating Al Ahli 4-2 on Sunday, at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium in the final fixture of the Round of 16.

Umm Salal's goals were scored by Spaniard Cristo Perez, who netted a hat-trick in the 42nd, 52nd, and 68th minutes, the latter from the penalty spot, and by Ahmed Abdel Maqsoud in the 55th minute.

Al Ahli's two goals came through Spaniard Erik Exposito in the 37th minute and Sekou Oumar in the 49th minute.

Umm Salal will face defending champions Al Gharafa in the quarterfinals. Al Gharafa secured their place after defeating Al Kharaitiyat, of the Second Division, 2-0 on Saturday. (QNA)
