Doha, February 01 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HE President of the friendly French Republic Emmanuel Macron discussed the two countries' strategic cooperation relations and ways to support and further strengthen them across various fields.

This came during a telephone call HH the Amir received from HE the French President.

During the call, the two sides exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments, particularly efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region, developments related to the Iranian issue and its implications for regional security, as well as the latest developments in the Gaza Strip, efforts to achieve a ceasefire and protect civilians.

The call further addressed ways to support stability in Lebanon and to safeguard its security and sovereignty. (QNA)
