Doha, November 03 (QNA) - Media City Qatar is bringing Doha's stories, milestones, and transformation to life through new luxury books published in partnership with Assouline, the internationally renowned publishing house known for visually rich books exploring culture, travel, art, architecture, and destinations.

Released over the coming months, the books will take readers on a journey through some of Doha's key landmarks, institutions, heritage, and defining moments. Each title will capture the people, places, ideas, and determination behind them, offering audiences in Qatar and around the world a deeper look at the resilience and growth that have shaped the city.

"We are always proud to support content that highlights our achievements, growth, and history and culture," said CEO of Media City Qatar Hamad Omar Al Mannai. "Doha has so many remarkable stories to tell, and these books provide an opportunity to celebrate some of them and share them with audiences around the world."

Among the books to be published is one spotlighting Doha's urban transformation and cultural essence. It will explore the places, milestones, and moments that have shaped the city's identity and its emergence as a destination connecting Qatar with the wider world.

Another title will celebrate Qatar University's 50-year journey and its contribution to the country's development, highlighting the people, breakthroughs, and achievements that have shaped its impact in Qatar and beyond.

Also among the books is one that captures the transformation of the former Ministry of Interior building and how its evolution reflects broader changes across Doha. This volume will trace its journey from a government building to the decision to preserve and repurpose this distinctive structure, ultimately becoming the home of The Ned Doha and a community destination.

This Assouline partnership builds on Media City Qatar's growing portfolio of international collaborations and initiatives that contribute to sector development and create new opportunities to tell stories from Qatar and the wider region in original and meaningful ways for global audiences. (QNA)
