Death Toll from Israeli Aggression against Gaza Reaches 74,609
Gaza, November 02 (QNA) - The death toll from Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip has risen to 74,609, with 175,872 people wounded, since Oct. 7, 2023, medical sources in the Strip said.
Hospitals across Gaza received 15 bodies and 38 wounded people over the past 48 hours, the sources added.
Since the October 2025 ceasefire, the death toll has climbed by 1,593, while the number of wounded has reached 5,748. A total of 847 bodies have been recovered, while many victims remain under the rubble and on roads, beyond the reach of ambulance and rescue crews, the sources added.
The cumulative death toll was also updated to include 18 additional fatalities after their records were completed and approved by the committee responsible for certifying the dead. The latest addition follows the previous update on Oct. 24, the sources continued.
The ceasefire deal between Hamas and Israel took effect in October 2025. However, Israeli occupation forces have continued to violate it through further airstrikes, artillery shelling and sustained gunfire across various parts of the enclave. (QNA)
