Cairo, November 01 (QNA) - Egypt strongly condemned the attack targeting the Qatari liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier "Al Mayeda," owned by Qatar Gas Transport Company (Nakilat), while sailing through the Arabian Gulf.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Egypt's complete rejection of these attacks, which constitute a grave breach of international law and threaten the security and freedom of international navigation.

It also expressed Egypt's full solidarity with the State of Qatar in all measures taken by Qatar to protect its sovereignty and interests. It emphasized the importance of maintaining the security and safety of maritime navigation and respecting the rules and provisions of international law. (QNA)
