Doha, October 05 (QNA) - The Qatar Tourism Awards, organised in collaboration with the World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism), has announced the shortlist of nominees for its fourth edition, with public voting now open.

This year's shortlist features 276 nominees selected from more than 1,623 submissions across 35 subcategories spanning seven main categories.

Qatar Tourism said in a statement today that residents and visitors can cast their votes from Oct. 5 to 12, giving the public a direct role in participating in the selection of this year's winners.

The awards ceremony will take place on Nov. 23 to honour the winners in recognition of their contributions to the continued development of Qatar's tourism sector and their pivotal role in delivering exceptional, high-quality experiences for visitors and residents alike.

The Qatar Tourism Awards aim to recognise organisations and individuals who actively contribute to the growth and development of Qatar's tourism sector. Through the awards, Qatar Tourism seeks to promote a culture of service excellence, innovation and best practices across the industry, while celebrating the achievements of partners supporting the tourism sector.
