Doha, October 28 (QNA) - Scale AI today signed an agreement with United Development Company (UDC), the master developer of The Pearl and Gewan islands, to establish a long-term home for Scale Qatar at UDC Tower at The Pearl Island in Doha.

The agreement was signed by UDC President and CEO, Yasser Salah Al Jaidah and Qatar Country Lead at Scale AI, Amr Samir at UDC's pavilion in Cityscape Qatar 2026 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.

Scale AI provides high-quality data that powers the world's leading AI models and helps enterprises and governments build, deploy and oversee AI applications, said UDC in a press release on Wednesday.

Yasser Salah Al Jaidah commented saying: "Scale Qatar's presence at UDC Tower reflects the growing appeal of The Pearl Island as a destination for leading local and international businesses. We see opportunities to build on this momentum by attracting companies that contribute to Qatar's evolving business landscape and strengthen the island's role as a hub for innovation, technology and knowledge-based industries."

For his part, Amr Samir said: "Qatar's leadership has set a compelling vision for AI to serve its people and strengthen its institutions, and MCIT is turning that vision into practical capability."
