Amman, October 22 (QNA) - Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi has met his Syrian counterpart, Asaad Al Shaibani, in Amman to discuss bilateral relations and regional security.

The meeting took place on Thursday during Shaibani's visit to Jordan.

The two ministers discussed ways to strengthen ties between their countries, as well as regional developments and efforts to end the escalation of tensions and restore calm and stability across the region.

They also condemned repeated Israeli attacks and incursions into Syrian territory, calling for them to stop and for an end to Israel's occupation of Syrian territories.

The meeting comes amid continuing regional security concerns, with both sides emphasizing the need to reduce tensions and promote greater stability. (QNA)
