Gaza, October 20 (QNA) - Two Palestinians were martyred and others injured Tuesday in Israeli airstrikes and gunfire in the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources reported that a man and his wife were martyred when Israeli aircraft struck an apartment near Al-Shifa Medical Complex in western Gaza City.

The sources said two Palestinians, including a woman, were injured by Israeli gunfire in Al-Iqlimi area south of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, as Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire on Al-Mawasi area west of the city and near Salah al-Din Street to its northeast.

A ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel took effect last October, but Israeli forces continue to violate it by carrying out further airstrikes, artillery shelling and heavy gunfire across the Gaza Strip. (QNA)
