2 Killed, 4 Injured in Russian Attack Targeting Ukraine's Poltava, Zaporizhzhia
Kyiv, October 18 (QNA) — Ukrainian authorities announced Sunday that two people were killed and four others injured in a Russian attack targeting the Poltava and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine.
Ukrainian news agency (Ukrinform) reported that the Poltava region was struck by a drone, resulting in one death, four injuries, and damage to several homes.
Additionally, a woman was killed when Russian shelling struck a building in the Zaporizhzhia region, while vital infrastructure in the Vinnytsia region sustained damage following a Russian airstrike.
Since Feb. 24, 2022, Russia and Ukraine have been exchanging, almost daily, reports claiming that each side has advanced or repelled attacks from the other, without verifying this data from an independent source, given the ongoing battle conditions. (QNA)
