Panama City, October 14 (QNA) - An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale struck on Wednesday La Mesa district, south of Panama.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) said that the quake occurred 10 kilometers south of La Mesa, at a depth of 10 kilometers.
There have been no reports of casualties or material damage due to the earthquake so far, and no tsunami warnings were issued.
Last Friday, an earthquake of 7.7 magnitude struck Panama, prompting the issuance of a tsunami warning. (QNA)
