Doha, October 12 (QNA) - Qatar SC have mutually terminated Spanish coach Marquez Lopez's contract following a poor start to the Qatar Stars League season.

U-23 coach Rashid Al Kubaisi has been appointed to lead the first team. Qatar SC have earned just two points from five matches, with two draws and three defeats, leaving them second-bottom in the standings.

Lopez previously led Qatar SC to sixth place last season and guided Qatar's national team to the 2023 AFC Asian Cup title. (QNA)
