Palestinian Martyred, Others Injured in Israeli Strikes Across Gaza Strip
Gaza, October 12 (QNA) - A Palestinian was martyred by wounds sustained on Sunday from an Israeli drone strike in northern Gaza, while several Palestinians, including children and women, were injured by Israeli gunfire and airstrikes across the enclave.
WAFA news agency cited a medical source as saying that the martyred Palestinian had sustained wounds in the bombardment, while another Palestinian was wounded by Israeli forces’ gunfire near the Abu Hamid roundabout, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Earlier Monday, a Palestinian was martyred in an Israeli drone strike targeting a group of civilians in Al-Mawasi area, northwest of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
In a related development, three children, including two siblings, were injured by Israeli forces’ gunfire in central Khan Younis. Two Palestinian women were also injured by Israeli forces’ gunfire in the Bir 19 area of Al-Mawasi, west of the city.
Israeli aircraft carried out several airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, striking a residential building twice in Al-Rimal neighborhood, west of Gaza City, and destroying another building near Shuja'iyya junction, east of the city. They also bombed a house in Al-Tawam area, northwest of the city.
Israeli forces blew up homes across the eastern areas of Gaza City, particularly east of Shuja'iyya and Al-Zaytoun neighborhoods, while an airstrike targeted farmland south of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel took effect in October 2025, but Israeli forces continue to violate it through airstrikes, artillery shelling and gunfire across various parts of the Gaza Strip. (QNA)
