Mogadishu, January 09 (QNA) - The Somali army announced today the killing of 18 members of Al Qaeda-affiliated Al Shabab militant group, during a military operation that took place in the south of the country.

Somali news agency Sonna reported today that the operation also led to the destruction of a factory used by the group to assemble weapons and explosives of various kinds. (QNA)
