Moscow, January 07 (QNA) - The Russian Ministry of Defense, Wednesday, announced that its forces were able to eliminate 1,235 Ukrainian soldiers and shoot down 160 Ukrainian drones, over the past 24-hours.

In a statement, the ministry said that its forces improved their tactical positions, taking more advantageous positions along several axes in the special military operation zone, and inflicting heavy losses in Ukrainian troops and military equipment.

It added that Russian operational-tactical aviation, strike drones, missile forces, and artillery targeted Ukrainian military-industrial facilities, production plants, and drone storage warehouses, as well as Ukrainian armed formations' temporary deployment points in 140 areas. (QNA)
