Doha, January 30 (QNA) – The Qatar Equestrian Federation (QEF) has signed a cooperation agreement Friday at Al Shaqab with Aba Annaev International Horse Breeding Academy in Turkmenistan.

This agreement reflects the Federation's commitment to strengthening international cooperation and exchanging technical and administrative expertise in equestrianism and horse breeding. The signing took place on the sidelines of the HH The Father Amir Prix, as part of the Doha Equestrian Tour 2026.

The agreement was co-signed by President of the Qatar Equestrian Federation (QEF) Bader bin Mohammed Al Darwish, and Director Aba Annaev International Horse Breeding Academy in Turkmenistan Pygy Bayramdurdyev.

The agreement aims to open new avenues for joint cooperation between the two parties.

This includes the exchange of expertise and knowledge in horse breeding, training, and the development of technical personnel, as well as the organization of joint programs and specialized workshops.

These initiatives will contribute to raising the level of equestrianism in accordance with the latest international standards.

During the signing ceremony, both sides emphasized the importance of this agreement in supporting the development of equestrian sports and strengthening sporting relations between Qatar and Turkmenistan.

They noted that the joint cooperation will contribute to the exchange of expertise, particularly in the areas of breeding and caring for purebred horses and training riders.

The signing of this agreement is part of the Qatar Equestrian Federation's strategy to expand its network of international partnerships and benefit from leading global experiences, thereby supporting the development of equestrian sports in Qatar and enhancing its standing at both the regional and international levels.
