N. Korea Fires Projectile Toward East Sea
Seoul, January 27 (QNA) - North Korea fired at least one unidentified projectile toward the East Sea today, South Korea's military said.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff said it detected the launch, without providing further details, according to Yonhap News Agency.
North Korea last fired ballistic missiles toward the East Sea on Jan 4, as President Lee Jae Myung was set to leave for Beijing for summit talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
If the ballistic missile launch is confirmed, this would mark the second time Pyongyang has launched a ballistic missile this year, only 23 days after the launch of the first ballistic missile.
