Al Arabi, Al Rayyan Defeat Al Gharafa, Al Sadd in Qatar Volleyball League

Doha, January 27 (QNA) - Al Arabi defeated Al Gharafa 3-1 in their match Tuesday, as part of the second round of the Qatar Volleyball League for Men, which is being held at the Qatar Volleyball Association Hall with the participation of 10 teams.

Al Arabi secured the victory with set scores of (21-25), (25-12), (25-18), and (25-23).

Al Arabi now has 30 points, placing them second in the standings, one point behind Al Wakrah, the league leader. Al Gharafa remain at 4 points in ninth place, second to last.

Al Rayyan also defeated Al Sadd by the same score, with set scores of (25-22), (21-25), (25-17), and (25-21). Al Rayyan moved up to third place with 28 points, two points behind Al Arabi and three points behind league leaders Al Wakrah, who have 31 points. Al Sadd remain bottom of the table with just two points.

The competition continues tomorrow, Wednesday, with two matches. Qatar SC, currently fifth with 16 points, will face Al Shamal, eighth with 9 points. The second match will see Police, fourth with 21 points, take on Al Khor, seventh with 11 points. (QNA)
