QSE Index Opens Lower
Doha, January 25 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index declined by 88.37 points, or 0.78%, at the start of trading on Sunday, falling to 11248 points from the previous session's close, under pressure from all sectors.
The market was weighed down by Consumer Goods and Services by (-0.51%), Industrials (-0.57%), Transportation (-0.72%), Insurance (-0.87%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.90%), Real Estate (-0.95%), and Telecoms (-1.04%).
By 10:00 am, trading turnover reached QAR 66,254 million, with 28.872 million shares traded across 3781 transactions. (QNA)
