HH the Amir Patronizes Graduation Ceremony of Military Colleges

Doha, January 22 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani patronized on Thursday the joint graduation ceremony of military colleges' cadets from Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College, Al Zaeem Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Attiya Air Academy, Mohammed Bin Ghanem Al Ghanem Naval Academy, and the Cyber Space Academy.

The ceremony was held at the premises of Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College.

The graduation ceremony was attended by Their Excellencies Sheikhs and Ministers, senior security and military leaders from several fraternal and friendly countries, Their Excellencies Heads of Diplomatic Missions and military and security attaches accredited to the State, and senior officers from the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, the Amiri Guard, the State Security Service, and the Lekhwiya Force, as well as guests of the ceremony.

The national anthem was played at the beginning of the ceremony. The commander of the graduates' queue then stepped forward to ask HH the Amir to inspect the queue of the 534 graduates from the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Federal Republic of Somalia, and the Republic of Rwanda.

Afterward, Commander of Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College Brigadier General Staff Ali Mohammad Al Fadala delivered a speech on the occasion.

His Highness the Amir then honored the outstanding graduates who were awarded the Sword of Honor for the military colleges and the parade commander, followed by the cadets' march and military parade.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the graduation proceedings took place, including the handover of the flag from the graduating batch to the next cadets. During this, permission was requested from His Highness the Amir to present the flag of the Tamim bin Hamad University for Military and Technology Sciences, marking the official inauguration of the university.

The graduates then performed the college anthem and took the oath. (QNA)
