Damascus, January17 (QNA) - Israeli occupation forces conducted a fresh incursion on Saturday into the southern countryside of Quneitra province in southern Syria, in a new violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.

"An Israeli force consisting of five military vehicles advanced from the western Tal Al-Ahmar area, moving along the villages of Ain Al-Ziwan and Ain Al-Abd toward the Jamous intersection east of Al-Rafeed town, before heading south toward Al-Hayran and east toward Abu Ghara, where it established a temporary checkpoint," the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported.

SANA further pointed out that another Israeli force, comprising four military vehicles, advanced in parallel through Abu Gheithar crossing, moving toward the village of Saida Al-Hanut, then continuing toward the Al-Maqraz Dam, where it paused briefly before resuming its advance toward the western countryside of Daraa in southern Syria.

Earlier today, an Israeli force entered the vicinity of the villages of Maariya and Abdeen in the Yarmouk Basin area in the western countryside of Daraa.

Syria has repeatedly called on the international community to curb these violations and compel the occupation forces to withdraw and return to compliance with the 1974 Disengagement Agreement. (QNA)
