Ministry of Interior Announces Martyrdom of Son of Chief of Hamas Political Bureau, Injuries to Civilians as a Result of Israeli Attack
Doha, September 09 (QNA) - The Ministry of Interior announced that the Israeli attack on residential headquarters in Doha, where several members of the political bureau of Hamas reside, resulted in the death of Hammam Khalil Al Hayya, the son of Hamas political bureau chief Khalil Al Hayya, along with injuries to several civilians.
In its statement, the ministry explained that after security authorities carried out forensic procedures, matched fingerprints and evidence at the scene, and verified identities, it was confirmed that Hammam Khalil Al Hayya was killed in the strike. It added that a number of civilians at the site were also injured and are currently receiving medical care.
The ministry extended its condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs, both its loyal personnel and civilians, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
It further stressed that investigations and information-gathering are ongoing to identify other missing individuals at the site, and that updates will be announced as soon as they become available. (QNA)
