Paris, September 09 (QNA) - Horse "Al Wakrah" (by TM Fred Texas x Majida (Majd Al Arab)), owned and bred by Al Shaqb Racing, claimed its second consecutive win in the group category of the French Arabian Breeders' Challenge Sprint (Group 2).
The race was held over 1.400 meters at the Bordeaux-Le Bouscat in France on Monday with the participation of seven horses over the age of four and above.
Seven-year-old "Al Wkarah", under trainer Jean de Mieulle and jockey Olivier d'Andigne, won in a tight finish, where horses "Haseef" came second and "Ghaidaa" came third.
This marks the fifth win for "Al Wakrah" in the group race following the wins achieved in the UAE President Cup (Group 3) held in San Sebastian racecourse in Spain, as well as in the Qatar International Cup (Group 1). (QNA)
