Doha, September 07 (QNA) - The draw for the 37th Arab Club Basketball Championship for Men was held Sunday, placing defending champions Al Arabi and fellow Qatari side Al Rayyan in Groups C and D, respectively.

The prestigious tournament, featuring 16 of the Arab world's top basketball clubs, will be hosted in Dubai at Al Nasr Club Arena from September 25 to October 6, 2025.

Group C will see Al Arabi compete against Kazma (Kuwait), Seeb (Oman), and Al Mina (Yemen). Meanwhile, Al Rayyan will be active in Group D alongside Al Hikma (Lebanon), Al Wahda (Syria), and Al Bashair (Oman).

Group A features hosts Al Nasr (UAE) with Fidaa Homs (Syria), Shabab Hadramout (Yemen), and Qadisiya (Kuwait).

Group B comprises Antonine (Lebanon), Ahli Tripoli (Libya), Manama (Bahrain), and Kuwait SC (Kuwait).

This year's edition introduces a key regulation change allowing clubs to register three foreign players, replacing the previous limit of two foreign professionals and one Arab player. The amendment aims to raise the competitive level and add more excitement to the tournament.

A technical meeting is scheduled in Dubai a day before tip-off to finalize organizational and officiating details. (QNA)
