Umm Salal SC President Hopes Team Will Show Up Differently This Season in Doha Bank Stars League

Doha, August 31 (QNA) - HE President of Umm Salal SC, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, emphasized that the club’s management is determined to proceed with its efforts to present a revitalized performance by the team in the 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League season, in pursuit of achieving results that meet the club's expectations and ambitions, as well as those of its fans and all members.

Speaking on the margins of the club’s ordinary general assembly meeting Sunday, HE Sheikh Abdulaziz expressed hope for persistent stability in terms of coaching within the first team, highlighting that multiple professional players have been signed at the start of this season to bolster the squad and strengthen its competitive edge.

He extended his gratitude to all coaching staff for their dedication in the past season and for their steadfast commitment across all sporting disciplines.

He heaped praise on the results achieved at the football level in the age categories and within the club's academy.

HE Vice President of Umm Salal SC, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al-Thani, affirmed that the first team had received great attention ahead of the season’s kickoff, noting that stability in coaching would positively reflect on the team’s standing.

The club’s General Assembly ratified the minutes of the previous meeting and adopted several proposals related to the advancement of the club across all sports teams.

A video highlighting milestone achieved by various club teams was screened during the meeting, alongside deliberations on the agenda items and the President’s report concerning the accomplishments of the previous season, as well as programs and plans for the new season. (QNA)
