QEWC Achieves Net Profit of QAR 662 Million During 1H 2025

Doha, August 03 (QNA) - Qatar Electricity and Water Company (QEWC) achieved a net profit of QAR 662 million for six months ended on June 30, 2025, compared to QAR 680 million for the same period of the previous year.

In a statement on Sunday, the QEWC said that its earning per share (EPS) for the first half of 2025 reached QAR 0.60 compared to an EPS of QAR 0.62 during the same period in 2024.

QEWC reported revenue of QAR 1,445 million compared to QAR 1,431 million during the same period in 2024.

Operating profit amounted to QAR 504 million compared to QAR 616 million during the same period in 2024.

The statement added that the Board of Directors approved the proposed distribution of interim cash dividends for the first half of 2025 at the rate of QAR 0.244 per share, equivalent to 24.4% of the share's nominal value. 

These interim dividends shall be paid to the eligible shareholder as at the close of trading session on August 11, 2025.

Total amount of interim dividend payment for the first half of the year will be QAR 268.4 million. (QNA)
