Doha, August 25 (QNA) - The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) launched Monday its "Back to School" activities for the 2025-2026 academic year.

This year's activities focus on highlighting the concept of "educational well-being" as one of the strategic objectives of education in the State of Qatar. This will contribute to a healthy and safe start to the school year by providing a balanced environment that takes into account students' psychological, physical, and social aspects.

The two-day event, which kicked off at the Qatar National Convention Center, will feature the participation of MOEHE leaders, educational staff, students, parents, and the public. This event is part of the ministry's efforts to create a stimulating learning environment that ensures an effective start to the new academic year.

The first day's activities featured a lecture by Professor Yasser Al Hazimi titled "psychological balance and quality of life," as well as the "information challenge" segment, presented by media professionals Abdullah Al Ghafri and Mohammed Adnan, which included competitions and valuable prizes, in addition to questions and quizzes presented by media professional Abdullah Al Hilabi.

The activities also included segments aimed at children, including puppet shows and a "science hour" segment featuring entertaining scientific experiments, in addition to various activities and competitions targeting students.

The events offer a mix of educational and entertainment activities, lectures, and interactive workshops, in addition to providing school supplies under one roof, providing families and students with a comprehensive experience that helps them enter the school year with enthusiasm and seriousness.

Six community entities are also participating in the event through pavilions and interactive activities, including Alef and Al Rawnaq Libraries, Karwa Transport Company, Ooredoo, and KidZania.

The first day witnessed the organization of five workshops. The first was titled "professional well-being: the gateway to achievement," presented by Ms. Dhabia Al Khulaifi.

The second was titled "be a leader and leave an impact," presented by Dr. Abdulrahman Al Harmi. The third was titled "an influential educational well-being tool," presented by Jawaher Al Manea.

The fourth workshop was titled "how education makes a difference in students' lives," presented by Dr. Abdul Nasser Fakhro.

The fifth workshop was titled "the renewed ;earner," presented by Wadha Al Athba. (QNA)
