Brasilia, August 25 (QNA) - Sao Paulo defeated Atletico Mineiro 2-0 in their match today, as part of the 21st round of the Brazilian Serie A.

The goals for Sao Paulo were scored by Pablo Maia and Gonzalo Tabares in the 23rd and 81st minutes of the match.

Paulo overcame the setback of a draw in the previous round, rising to 7th place with 32 points, while Mineiro remained in 12th place with 24 points.

In the remaining matches, Mirassol defeated Fortaleza 1-0, and Botafogo Regatas beat Juventude 3-1.
