Qatar Charity Provides Modern Equipment to Support Kidney Patients in Sudan

Khartoum, August 23 (QNA) - Qatar Charity has provided modern dialysis machines to the dialysis center at Eldamer city Hospital and Elbauga district Hospital in River Nile State, Sudan.

This support is aimed at alleviating the suffering of thousands of patients with kidney failure in Sudan, while enhancing the overall quality of healthcare services offered to them.

In a statement on Saturday, Qatar Charity stated that 14 dialysis machines for kidney patients were provided as part of a project to equip the country with medical equipment, funded by benevolent individuals in Qatar. The patients have expressed their deep appreciation for the newly provided machines.

For her part, Minister of Health in River Nile State Dr. Magda Abdullah said that Qatar Charity's provision of dialysis machines supports River Nile State's approach to enhancing health services, appreciating Qatar's efforts in this area which represent a true addition to the State. (QNA)
