QBA Announces National Team's Roster for FIBA Asia Cup Saudi Arabia 2025

Doha, August 02 (QNA) - The Qatar Basketball Federation (QBF) announced on Saturday the official roster of the national team that will participate in the FIBA Asia Cup Saudi Arabia 2025, to take place in Jeddah, from August 5 to 17, with the participation of 16 national teams.

The squad will include 12 players, these are: Brandon Goodwin, Alen Hadzibegovic, Ndoye Seydou, Zineeddine Bedri, Tyler Harris, Aladji Magassa, Omar Saad, Moustapha Ndao, Mohammed Basher, Babacar Dieng, Abdulrahmn Saad, and Mahmoud Darwish.

The Qatari delegation will be headed by QBF Secretary-General and National Teams Manager Saadoun Sabah Al Kuwari, as well as team manager Jassim Ibrahim Ashkanani, in addition to Nabil Juma who will assist him.

To be led by Turkish head coach Hakan Demir, the technical staff will include Cengiz Karadag, Abdou Sow, Atila Yapcier, and Mehmet Vural.

Moreover, the medical team will consist of Dr. Adel Salim and Dr. Adel Hormia, along with physiotherapist Nicasio Sagayno.

The FIBA Asia Cup Saudi Arabia 2025's draw placed Qatar in Group A alongside Australia, South Korea, and Lebanon.

Group B will include Guam, Japan, Syria, and Iran; Group C will feature China, Jordan, India, and Saudi Arabia; while Group D will be comprised by Chinese Taipei, New Zealand, Iraq, and the Philippines. (QNA)
