Qatar National Table Tennis Team Concludes Serbia Training Camp in Preparation for Arab Championship in Morocco
Belgrade, August 19 (QNA) - The Qatari national table tennis team concluded its external training camp in the Serbian capital Belgrade, as part of the intensive preparation plan set by Qatar Table Tennis Association to ready the players ahead of the Arab Table Tennis Championships, scheduled to be hosted by Morocco next month.
The camp included players Abdullah Abdulwahab, Sultan Al Kuwari, and Ahmed Eid Qarni, along with their teammates, who underwent intensive daily training sessions under the supervision of Greek coach Daniel Tsiokas.
The training focused on enhancing technical and physical readiness and refining tactical aspects through morning and evening sessions.
The camp also gave the players the opportunity to compete against high-level European players, helping sharpen their skills and boost their confidence before entering the official competition atmosphere at the Arab Championship.
Qatar Table Tennis Association stressed that the Belgrade camp was a key stage in the preparation program, highlighting that the objective is to enable the players to perform at their best and strongly contend for medals in the upcoming Arab event in Morocco.
The team is set to complete its final stage of preparations in Doha before traveling to Morocco for the Arab Championships. (QNA)
