Real Betis: Isco Alarcon Has Fracture in Calf Bone
Madrid, August 10 (QNA) - Spanish club Real Betis announced Sunday that first-team player Isco Alarcon sustained an injury during the team's recent friendly match against Malaga CF, as part of preparations for the upcoming La Liga season.
In an official statement on its website, the club said that medical tests revealed that Isco suffers a new non-displaced fracture in the middle third of his left fibula.
The statement added: "This is a new traumatic injury unrelated to the previous injury, which has been resolved."
It also said that the 32-year-old will undergo treatment over the coming weeks, with his return depending on the progress of his recovery. (QNA)
