The loan deal comes as part of the current summer transfer window, during which the club seeks to strengthen its ranks in preparation for the new season of the Qatar Stars League.

Al Sailiya had previously announced the signing of several players, including Dutch defender Kylian van der Vaart for three seasons from Bulgarian club Levski Sofia, Abdulaziz Adel for one season from Muaither, Hussein Ali from Al Rayyan, Omar Yahya from Umm Salal, and Ahmed Sebaei from Al Ahli.

Al Sailiya also renewed the contract of its player Abdulrahman Mohammed until 2028.

Al Sailiya, newly promoted to the Qatar Stars League, is one of the first clubs to begin training for the new season.

The team continue their training in Doha until its departure to Slovenia for a training camp abroad, during which it will play a number of friendly matches.

The goal is to assess the players' physical and technical readiness before returning home for the final preparatory phase before the start of official competitions.(QNA)
