Kuwait, July 29 (QNA) - The Asian Handball Federation (AHF) announced on Tuesday that Kuwait's Bader Al-Dhiyab was elected by acclimation as president of the federation for the term (2025-2029).

Al-Dhiyab serves currently as Vice President of the International Handball Federation (IHF) and Treasurer of the AHF.

Elections will be held during the AHF general assembly scheduled for next December in Cairo, Egypt, to choose the first vice president, the AHF representative in the IHF, four vice presidents, secretary-general, treasurer, four members of the AHF board of directors, and a female member of the board.

President of the Qatar Handball Association Ahmed Al Shaabi holds the position of AHF vice president for the current term (2021-2025). (QNA)
