Doha, July 28 (QNA) - Al Gharafa SC announced Monday the signing of Spanish player Alvaro Djalo from Athletic Bilbao, on a one-season loan.

The club published a video on its official account on the "X" platform, confirming the signing of the 25-year-old player in a deal aimed at strengthening the first football team in preparation for the new season.

Over the past two weeks, Al Gharafa concluded several deals, most notably the signing of Jamaican defender Mason Holgate for two seasons from English club Everton.

The club also extended the contracts of Icelandic midfielder Aron Gunnarsson and Spanish goalkeeper Sergio Rico for an additional season, as well as the Arab duo, Algerian Yacine Brahimi and Tunisian Ferjani Sassi, until the end of the 2025-26 season. (QNA)
