Ramallah, July 26 (QNA) - Israeli occupation forces escalated their aggressive raids Saturday across Palestinian towns in the occupied West Bank, intensifying relentless assaults and daily violations against civilians and their property.

A unit of the Israeli military stormed Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah, flooding its streets with troops, though no arrests or raids were reported.

This brutal incursion came right after violent attacks by Israeli settler mobs on the town's outskirts.

In Tubas governorate, Israeli forces launched an operation in Wadi Al-Far'a, south of the city, unleashing tear gas canisters directly into residential neighborhoods. Their assault ignited a fire in nearby farmland before the military vehicles pulled back toward Al Hamra checkpoint.

In a continued show of force, Israeli occupation forces erected a military checkpoint Saturday at the entrance to the Palestinian village of Wadi Fukin, west of Bethlehem, stopping vehicles and vetting citizens' IDs in a sweeping security inspection.

Another checkpoint was set up at the Akkaba Roundabout, east of Tulkarm, causing major bumper-to-bumper traffic and impounding multiple vehicles for inspection, though no arrests were reported.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military continues to impose a tightening siege on Tulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps for the 181st consecutive day, accompanied by relentless demolition operations that have flattened hundreds of homes and commercial establishments, left near-total destruction of basic infrastructure, making it impossible for displaced residents to return to their homes.

In a perilous new escalation, Israeli occupation forces stormed several homes in the Jabal Al Nasr area, adjacent to the besieged Nur Shams refugee camp, now under continuous assault for the 168th consecutive day.

Troops tore through private property, assaulted residents, and forcibly expelled Ous Al Aref from his home at gunpoint.

Meanwhile, the city of Tulkarm and its surrounding areas remain under overwhelming pressure, with Israeli military vehicles conducting nonstop operations.

Their presence continues to paralyze movement and intensify the daily anguish of the civilian population. (QNA)
