Baghdad, July 21 (QNA) - Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani discussed today with Commander of the US Central Command, Gen. Michael E. Kurilla who is visiting Baghdad, bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them, particularly within the framework of the work of the Iraqi-US Joint High Committee.
The two sides also discussed regional developments, with Al Sudani stressing the importance of imposing stability; avoiding the causes of expanding conflicts; and respecting the sovereignty of states based on UN charters and international resolutions, dialogue and understandings, and activating diplomatic activities and cooperation to establish security and stability in the region.
