15 Palestinians Martyred, Several Wounded Under Israeli Airstrikes On Gaza
Gaza, July 16 (QNA) - Fifteen Palestinians were martyred and several others wounded Wednesday as Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of airstrikes across various locations in the Gaza Strip.
The attacks targeted residential homes, tents sheltering displaced families, and groups of civilians gathered in different neighborhoods, resulting in widespread devastation and loss of life.
Medical reports confirmed that four individuals were martyred in two separate airstrikes, one on Abu Hasira Street in the west of Gaza City and another on a home located in the southern Sabra neighborhood. In the northwest, additional casualties were reported after an airstrike on Ahmad Yassin Street in the Sheikh Radwan area, where a group of Palestinians had gathered.
Further north, Israeli aircraft targeted a house in Jabalia Al-Balad, killing two people and injuring others. In central Gaza, Al Awda Hospital reported four deaths and multiple injuries following a strike on a mourning tent in Al-Nuseirat refugee camp on Al-Twenty Street. A drone attack in Al-Sawarha, west of Nuseirat, claimed two more lives after hitting a rooftop of a residential building.
Tragedy also struck Al Bureij refugee camp, where one child was martyred and seven others injured during an assault on Block 1. Meanwhile, in the south near Khan Younis, two Palestinians, including another child, were killed and fifteen others wounded when drones dropped explosives on tents sheltering displaced persons in the Asdaa area.
According to the Ministry of Health, today's death toll contributes to an ever-growing humanitarian crisis, with total casualties from the Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, rising to 58,573 martyrs and 139,607 injured. In the past 24 hours alone, Gaza hospitals have received 94 martyrs, including seven whose bodies were recovered from beneath the rubble, and 252 injuries. (QNA)
