Doha, June 07 (QNA) - Al Duhail SC has officially appointed Algerian coach Djamel Belmadi as the new head coach of the club first football team. Belmadi succeeds Frenchman Christophe Galtier, whose contract with the club has come to an end.

In a statement, Al Duhail SC that it has reached an agreement with the Head Coach Djamel Belmadi for his return to lead the club first football team again starting next season.

Djamel Belmadi previously coached the team on two prior occasions: from 2010 to 2012, and then again from 2015 to 2018. During his time with the team, he successfully secured the Qatar Stars League title four times, the Amir Cup twice, and the Qatar Cup once. (QNA)
