Doha, June 06 (QNA) – Al Rayyan SC announced Friday it signed goalkeeper Mahmoud Abu Nada and defender Abdullah Yousef for the next season (2025-2026).

The 25-year-old goalie, coming from Al Arabi SC, will wear the number 57 t-shirt, the club announced on X.

Yousef, 23, had a distinguished season with Al Gharafa, culminating in the Amir Cup title. He was also among the nominees for the Best Under-23 Player award for the season, which was won by Al Shamal player Mohammed Mannai.

Al Rayyan hopes to regain the league title next season, having last won the competition in the 2015-2016 season.

Under the leadership of Portuguese coach Artur Jorge, Al Rayyan is seeking to strengthen its ranks with several local and professional players. (QNA)
