Doha, June 30 (QNA) - Al Shamal SC announced the renewal of the contract of first-team player Mohamed Mannai, who won the Best Under-23 Player Award last season (2024-2025).

The club explained in a statement today that Mannai signed a new contract to continue with the team, following his outstanding performance last season.

Under the leadership of coach David Prats, Al Shamal seeks to achieve the best results in the upcoming season. The team is preparing for this season with a training camp in the Netherlands from July 17-August 5, during which it will play three friendly matches.

During the current summer transfer window, Al Shamal signed player Akram Tawfik from Egypt's Al Ahly SC, in addition to signing Spanish Alex Collado from Real Betis.

Al Shamal finished sixth in the Qatari League last season. (QNA)
