QAA Holds 2025 Commencement Ceremony for Civil Aviation Graduates

Doha, June 02 (QNA) - Qatar Aeronautical Academy (QAA) held its 2025 commencement ceremony for graduates across five specialized disciplines in the civil aviation sector.

HE Minister of Transport, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Thani, patronized and attended the event, which drew the participation of Their Excellencies the Ministers, heads of government entities, ambassadors accredited to the State of Qatar, and dignitaries from the aviation industry.

HE Director General of QAA Sheikh Jabor Bin Hamad Al-Thani praised the graduates' efforts and their perseverance in achieving this success to be part of the progression journey in the world of aviation.

His Excellency stated that he is glad to celebrate today with the graduates who have perfectly accomplished their education with high dedication in civil aviation disciplines, one of the most advanced and accurate disciplines.

The QAA touts their joining to the academy and reaffirms its enduring commitment to supporting them throughout their career journey and ensuring the attestation of their qualification documents from the competent authorities, His Excellency underlined.

His Excellency extended his gratitude and appreciation to the graduates' parents, noting the colossal efforts of the academic and administrative staff in providing a catalyzed educational atmosphere, along with advanced training curricula that prepared a qualified national workforce that contributes to supporting the aviation sector at home and abroad.

He explained that the 2025 graduating cohort completed their studies across various academic departments, specializing in the pilot training program, aircraft maintenance engineering, air traffic control, airport operations management, and aeronautical meteorology.

آ  The graduate representatives expressed their delight at this milestone achievement, along with their upbeat spirit about reaching the culmination of their academic journey, ushering in a new path of careers in this field.

They also thanked and appreciated the academy, as well as its staff, for all efforts they have made in helping them earn their academic laurels.

Afterwards, HE Director General of QAA handed over the graduation certificates to all graduates.

Noteworthy, QAA is one of the leading educational institutions in the region as it has consistently worked to update its programs and disciplines to meet labor market requirements and keep up with the rapid global evolution in the aviation field.
