Tunis, June 01 (QNA) - Esperance Sportive won the Tunisian Cup after defeating Stade Tunisien 1-0 in the final match at Hammadi Agrebi Stadium in Rades on Sunday.

Nigerian forward Onuche Ogbelu scored the winning goal for Esperance in the 67th minute.

The victory marks Esperance's 16th Tunisian Cup title, extending its record for most wins in the competition.

With this triumph, Esperance secured its sixth domestic double, having also won the league championship this season. Previous doubles were achieved in 1989, 1991, 1999, 2006, and 2011. (QNA)
