Paris, May 25 (QNA) - Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has won the French Cup for the second consecutive time and 16th in the club's history, after defeating Stade de Reims 3-0 in the final held Saturday at the Stade de France in the capital.

The match was attended by 77,101 spectators.

Bradley Barcola scored two goals in the 16th and 19th minutes, with Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi adding the third in the 43rd minute.

With this title, under the guidance of Spanish coach Luis Enrique, PSG has secured a domestic treble this season. They previously won the French Super Cup in January against Monaco in Doha, and clinched the league title with six rounds remaining in the competition.

PSG now has the opportunity to achieve an unprecedented quadruple if they win the Champions League for the first time in their history, when they face Italian club Inter Milan in the final on Saturday at the Allianz Arena in Germany.

This victory further extends PSG's record for most French Cup titles, bringing their total to 16 and cementing their position as the most successful club in the competition's history.

Conversely, Stade de Reims failed to secure their third title in the competition, having previously won in 1950 and 1958. It is worth noting that this victory marks PSG's first win against Stade de Reims this season, after the two teams drew 1-1 in both of their league encounters. (QNA)
