Kazan, May 16 (QNA) - Doha Forum participated in Kazan Forum 2025, along with a host of the most prominent international leaders.

General Manager of Doha Forum Maha Al Kuwari delivered opening remarks at the launch of Female Perspectives, a flagship component of Kazan Forum dedicated to the role of women in economic and social development.

Al Kuwari emphasized in her remarks the critical importance of platforms that unite women across borders to share knowledge, exchange experience, and collaborate on practical solutions.

"We meet at a time when women are not just participating in transformation, we are leading it," she said.

"Platforms like Kazan Forum and Doha Forum matter because they forge the networks and partnerships that help drive inclusive progress and lasting impact," she added.

During her remarks, Al Kuwari showcased Doha Forum’s broader efforts to elevate women’s voices on the global stage, particularly the contribution of women in science, technology, and diplomacy to supporting frontline leadership in media, education, and entrepreneurship.

She stressed that these were not isolated moments, but represented a growing global network in which women from Latin America, Central Asia, Africa, and beyond were shaping solutions and building collective resilience.

Female Perspectives was hosted by the Association of Women Deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marhamet-Mercy, and brought together changemakers from government, business, civil society and media.

Doha Forum’s participation in Kazan reflects its year-round mission to advance inclusive dialogue, diversity, and justice. The 23rd edition of Doha Forum will be held in Qatar on Dec. 6-7 2025 under the theme "Justice in Action: Beyond Promises to Progress." (QNA)
