Kuwait, April 3 (QNA) - The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Thursday Kuwait's strong condemnation and denunciation of the attacks launched by the Israeli occupation forces on a number of areas in Syria, which resulted in the injury of several people and caused severe damage to facilities and infrastructure.

In a statement, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that these attacks represent a continuation of Israel's flagrant violations of international law and international legitimacy resolutions and a dangerous escalation that will increase violence and tension in the region.

It stressed the need for the international community, particularly the Security Council, to assume its responsibilities in putting an end to these violations and holding the Israeli occupation accountable for its crimes.

Kuwait also reiterated its solidarity with and support for Syria, stressing the importance of respecting Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity. (QNA)
