Doha, April 17 (QNA) - Al Arabi coach Pablo Amo and Umm Salal coach Patrice Beaumelle spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 22 match slated for Friday.

Al Arabi coach said: "We are on the cusp of an important match against Umm Salal in the 22nd and final week.

This is a new opportunity for us to showcase the team's character and finish the season strongly.

"It is true that we have faced some challenges recently due to significant absences due to injuries, but these circumstances have strengthened the spirit of co-operation among the players.

The entire team works as a single unit and this makes me confident in our ability to deliver a strong performance in the upcoming match," said Pablo Amo.

For his part, Umm Salal coach Patrice Beaumelle said: "The victory over Al Ahli in the previous round provided a significant morale boost for the team.

I thank the players, management and all members of the technical, administrative and medical staff for their continued support.

"Our goal is to enter the Play-Off match with utmost focus and regain confidence through performance and results.

The upcoming match against Al Arabi will be an important preparation and we will approach it with a high fighting spirit to provide additional motivation before the decisive match," he added.

"The current situation does not satisfy anyone as this is not Umm Salal's natural place.

We have experienced some bumps, but we aspire to make a strong comeback in Play-Off match.

I have complete confidence in the players' abilities and I know they will do everything they can to survive," said Beaumelle. (QNA)
