Qatar Media City Esports Forum 2025 Concludes with Wide Participation
Doha, April 16 (QNA) - Qatar Media City, in collaboration with Synergy, a leading eSports company, concluded the second edition of the Qatar Esports Forum, with the attendance of more than 300 participants and representatives from 200 government and international entities.
The exclusive event was held at the Waldorf Astoria Lusail.
The one-day forum featured panel discussions and innovative discussions on the future of eSports, focusing on artificial intelligence, player training, the integration of games with education, and the development of digital sports media.
Thaer Khaled Al Anani, Head of Business Development at Qatar Media City, emphasized that the forum represents a step within an ambitious strategy to build a competitive media system that supports the national economy and aligns with the Qatar National Vision 2030.
Ibrahim Samha, Founder and CEO of Synergy, emphasized the importance of partnering with Qatar Media City to enhance Qatar's position as a global hub for competitive gaming.
The forum is an extension of the Media City's efforts to support the sector through unique initiatives such as the Geek-End Marathon and the Geekdom Workshop, in addition to supporting local game developers and publishers, with the aim of building a sustainable and competitive e-gaming ecosystem across the region.
