Second Qatar Esports Forum to Convene Wednesday
Doha, April 15 (QNA) - The second Media City Qatar Esports Forum 2025 will be held on Wednesday and is expected to feature panel discussions led by international experts.
Convening a substantial number of leading pioneers in the esports industry, the event intends to spur the esports sector and chart its future in the State of Qatar following the overwhelming success of the first forum held in 2024, as this year's forum is characterized by strong attendance, a broader schedule, and large impact, bringing together domestic stakeholders with global thought leaders to shape the future trajectory of Qatar’s esports industry.
Organized by Media City Qatar (MCQ), in collaboration with SNRG company specializing in esports domains, the forum underscores MCQ's commitment to fostering interaction and collaboration between domestic and international players in esports, thereby contributing to promoting awareness about this sector in the region and beyond.
In addition, the event purposefully seeks to enhance communication among government bodies, the private sector, and international players, in addition to backing partnerships and initiatives that bolster industry growth, especially after Qatar has emerged as a pivotal new hub in the global esports arena.
This domain is significantly growing by virtue of the global investments that aim to drastically advance this sector, as the forum strives to spotlight Qatar's commitment to being a regional hub for this kind of sport, positioning itself as an active center through which it seeks to compete and strengthen its role in hosting major tournaments and developing them domestically.
Interestingly, the first forum was evidently a turning point for this sector in Qatar after it had offered an incredible opportunity to showcase the domestic potential and identify the pathway toward growth and success in the years ahead.
Supported by Qatar Tourism and the Qatar Esports Federation, the second forum primarily intends to advance Qatar's stature as a leading hub for esports in the region. (QNA)
